DESIGNER SUBMISSION
C.U.R.V.V., An Exhibit Curated by ChaCha N’Kole is looking for students and established fashion designers to showcase a garment inspired by select exhibits currently on display at the University of Penn Museum.

Submission Fee: $100 per entry

Prize: The winner will receive a $500.00 prize and the title of C.U.R.V.V. Designer of 2013.
Rules: All submissions must be created specifically for C.U.R.V.V., An Exhibit Curated by ChaCha N’Kole. Any previous works will be disqualified. No refunds or designer exchanges on entry fees. Pieces must be either made to fit a full figured female (US sizes 12+) or male (US sizes 38+). Designers have the option of displaying their pieces on a mannequin or live model. Mannequins and models must be approved by the C.U.R.V.V. committee prior to the event. All garments must be accompanied by a concept/inspiration board reflecting where you gathered your historic reference.
Judging: Appointed judges will consist of fashion industry professionals, fashion design instructors, fashion history instructors, seasoned fashion designers and historians. They will judge pieces on the basis of accuracy of incorporated historic reference, creativity, technique and execution. Popular vote of attendees will also play a role in the final tally for the winner.
